Some plastic cover for your stuff if it rains?
Sunscreen if it doesn't?
Tire pressure gauge?
Windex (to get the bugs off the windshield)?
Car number?

Enjoy!

Ck; Ck; Ck; & Ck. Thx Frank.

Rgruppe is renting the track for the day, so no numbers. Just a fun, low key, day. Perfect for Isabella's maiden voyage.

Buttonwillow Raceway, about 125 miles N of L.A. We're running it clockwise with the (bus stop, phil hill and mazda star corner.) Probably 2.75 mile configuration. Fairly quick track, I'm told.

Watch the blues.....The brake dust is very corrosive.
Burnt (pin hole size) my freshly painted wheels.
I switched for the HP+ and they are great track pads for now.
Have fun.

Buttonwillow is a fun track. What group are you going there with. We drive down from SF area, about a 3.5 hour trip. Still worth it.

I went with a linen white interior, and came back with a Central Valley Brown interior. I'll post the video of the spin one day.

My car group is renting the track for the day. Probably not more than 30 cars or so. Should be fantastic. Temps in the mid to high 80's.

The Hawk blues certainly do "dust". I remove it fairly quickly with a wheel cleaner when the wheels cool off, so not much if any stays on the wheel for any length of time. How long does it take to start being corrosive, and will it eat into the aluminum, or simply through the finish?

Thanks for the heads up....

If it's after a spin, are you sure the brown was from the valley?

By coincidence I spent the weekend getting mine ready for a track outing today

In addition I also put the Toyo R888s on and put some new firmer settings on the KW's bump and rebound (and have remembered to take the tools in case they need adjusting).
