Default Headlicght cleaning

Has anyone taken out the headlights , opened them up and cleaned them ?

how to do it, pictures would be nice thanks in advance !

There have been threads for both H4 and H5 cleaning posted here...a search should find them.

It's quite simple. Remove the single screw on the bottom of the headlight trim ring. The rim should then pop right off. It's pretty straight forward from there.

Sorted mine out this year.

Follow instructions as above. I didn't take the glass lense off but washed out with washing up liquid/detergent. Dried with a hair dryer and popped them back in.

Just make sure you connect up the elec adjustment hose.

I put alcohol in the light unit to clean it. Swished it around, then poured it out. Used compressed air(carefully) to fully get out the moisture.
