Managed to clean some old metal part such as the rear silencer.

Yes, much better. Especially now with such a light car and the stifness from the rollcage. There are no downsides with the RS mounts. You get at much better feel from the rear end, and on track they improves gear shifting in corners.

Wevo blue or go home. Plus, they match the ar's color!

What did you do to pretty up the secondary exhaust? I have the primary out of the car at the moment, I'd like to clean it up too.

A shout out to Dave & Chris at Strasse for putting up with me & their great work, when they can;-)

Decided to have normal discs for now and keep the normal front calipers on Amazon for now until I find some big red. Ok for now until the car is bedded

Loads and loads of elbow grease! Wire brush + wool and odd degreaser chemicals!

Got to run will upload a few more bits I've cleaned.

+1. RS ones are tried and tested and add to the feel. Has the engine carrier been strengthened/braced? It needs to be when using stifffer mounts, to be on the safe side.

Taking note, also with the engine mounts been metal with no give, should be a lot stiffer. Yes, my engine carrier is brand new & strengthened for good measure as mine snapped before I owned her!

Heres more cleaning involved before using again such as the plastic arch liners. You will be surprised to find so much tar and more B@@@dy tar, grit, stones stuck onto all the metalwork and plastic through its life.

Even on the inner side of the heat guards that protect the Cat is covered in 20years of welded grit & tar.

And more cleaning!

Good to hear. The RS mounts have rubber centres so there is still some give but no where near as much as the standard hydraulic mounts.

Here's the RS kit for your info :

Thank you Steve! Can I ask what your 64 is like on normal road use? Is she harsh?

After a years making, the brake calipers needed a refurb. What didn't help was laying them up outside, hence rust! Ooops!

Anyway, good as new, with new seals, pads, and refurb on each caliper, shes good to go! Stuck with black but may change when I get some Big Reds later.

No Calipers but new tinwear.

New disk & pads.
