Porsche have lost all the records for the 1990 and 1991 Cup Cars I am told by my German friend with the only tiptronic Cup made.
Looking good Colin. Any chance of a photo of how the glove lid fits onto the dash?
I am about to fit a replacement but looks like holes are required on the dash.

Here's what's been going on this week:
Neil and Leigh flatting off & preparing the panels for paint.
Detail shots of scuttle joint & metal finished roof gutter rails
Invisible repair of damaged door strap mounting on A-post
Front end ready for paint
Front end painted with etch - will now be ready for primer after a quick going over with scotchbrite.

Nordschleife Master
...and extra bad news for mine because that means a rotting light frame is going to mean it's going to need a new quarter

Alternatively drop in at the end of next week, Marc's going to be removing two from our 9m11RS-R project to fit the earlier SC panels.

Thank-you Colin very useful pics of dash. I'll remove the knee pad and have a look this week.
You should maybe mask the VIN in front compartment otherwise will be difficult to read!
Don't ask how I know!

Thanks for the tip Charles, however if you look closely you may just be able to see the faint glow of green paint through the masking tape covering up the number already....

More work progressing in 9m Panelcraft over the last week or so. We've now got Kermit off the Celette jig and onto the rotisserie to give us full access to the floorpan so that we can straighten the jacking points & pan and strip off all the old seam sealer where it has been damaged. Heatgun and wirebrush wheels sort out the sealer easily enough. The jacking points required more serious work, one of them had to be removed, straighened with panel hammers & re-welded back into position on the floor.

Floor preparation done: photos show masking the rest of the shell; floor after painting & detail seam sealing the joints.

Wow Colin, you guys give the word "quality" a new meaning. I'm very impressed and glad to see such craftsmanship in the Porsche business. No question (IMHO) of who to turn to in order to build a NA race Porsche . Keep up the good work, love it!
PS. I was on the fence earlier this year (NA or turbo), but chose the dark side (RUF TurboR), which I took delivery of a few months back. Next time around it's 9M. DS.
