There are two dates that make sense. First is the Watkins Glen advanced driver's event which is where I'm hoping a magazine will do an article on the 964 Cups. I'm hoping to get as many of them as possible which I count to be about 12 Euro Cup cars (not including Colin's) and 4 or so US Cup Cars. This is a 2 day open track driver's education event where pro drivers are available for instruction for an additional fee. The second event is less than a month later at Watkins Glen which is the Clash at the Glen PCA Club Race. We should know the dates soon since WGI has shut down for the winter and is in the process of being repaved (not that it needed it).

You could bring over your 993RSCS, but I think it would probable need a proper race suspension and slicks to be competitive in the GT2 class even at WGI which is definately a HP track. Check it out, especially the elevation changes. PCA runs the full course. Better driver's than me are WOT from turn 1 to radius 19 (the bus stop) which is all uphill.

Logistically the 964 Cup makes sense, we can lend you an extra set of wheels (no, not the cracked ones Bob) and we have enough spare parts among us to ensure you have a good time.

Link to Watkins Glen

My wife is English from the midlands and we go over evry summer.

Sure, let me know your schedule and I'll see if we can slot in a track day to keep you entertained, probably at my local circuit Oulton Park in Cheshire.

In the meantime I'll look forward to all the pm's from your Rennlist "friends" telling me why I shouldn't!

Not now Geoffrey, I'm busy with my travel agent.
