Yeah, not too surprising. Not everyone wants to make this kinda stuff... but doesn't mind parting with $$ for it.
In any case, to each his own!

Andreas, if you don't need another one I planned on bidding on this one. If you still have orders to fill... I'm in no rush at all.

Andreas,
Well done! With your efforts to assist other Rennlist members to get something that they want.

Mark,
I agree with you,

My two cents,
Everyone takes advantage of the forum to solve their problems........(me especially!)
What's the problem with offering something???

No one forces anyone to place an order or part with their hard earned cash. It's called free will.

Hope I don't get in trouble for this!

Frank,
Thank you for your thoughts. The fact is, I never offered to sell anything. The amount of requests to make more of these caused me to begin this project in the first place. Showing what I created was no different than someone else posting pics of their newly-lowered suspension. There was no hidden agenda.

Regardless, I should have 20 finished wood blanks on the way to me within the next two weeks. I have now sourced enough used clocks to satisfy the requests from Rennlisters. Unfortunately, most of the clocks had one or more cosmetic issues that finally caused me to ship the entire lot to North Hollywood Speedometers for repairs. This was certainly not an expense I considered in my original math, but I will honor the initial price.

It has been a fun project, and I may fashion more if these all turn out nicely and are well received. Now I just need to decide on a warranty

Howard,

If you were down here in Australia I'd come round to your house and drink beer till we both couldn't stand up!!!!

I find that usually makes everybody feel better.

Till the morning or when wives arrive home, which ever comes first!!

Cheers,
Frank

Drink beer all night long is lousy... makes you pee every 5 minutes...how about red wine, lets the conversation flow, it is fantastic.
