yes immediately felt the difference. More meaty across the rev range and particularly at lower RPM. It’s a worthwhile mod that is easily reversible - I installed it myself in about 30 minutes. I would say if your car is concours, you might not want to do it cause you have to pry open your control unit and it inevitably leaves scuff marks from the screw driver. I felt a little bad about this cause my control unit had not been tampered with, but with 130,000 miles, mine is (happily) a “driver”. I recommend the mod for sure.

+964 to the above statement. Additionally, I would use with a lightweight flywheel. I added mine post engine rebuild at 197,000 miles. She's a very happy driver.

Have now owned the car for exactly one year but driven only 350 miles. Hoping to spend more time driving and less time fixing issues in the next 12 months

Couldn’t take the silver overload anymore, so got a cheap used set of Alleggeritas as an experiment and to use for autox events.
I like the gun metal much better. It actually helps me appreciate the polar silver more as it helps it pop without being black holes like black wheels.
The car is super dirty. Too hot to wash it but not too hot to drive it...

Thanks! 3-4 lb loss per wheel over the MY02s. Definitely noticed it. I love light wheels.
I wish someone made a lightweight rep of Speedlines wheels. That’s my favorite on 964s but they’re so heavy.
