A bit off topic and apologies if hijacking the thread but how do you avoid the Seasuckers putting scratches in your paintwork when carrying bikes. I've tried this with mine and ended up with minor scratches on the roof.

I make sure the pads are clear of large debris, then mist with water before applying.
I can see some marks left behind from them after 3,000+ miles of use.
But my car is not pristine, so I don't mind it.
Plus it's an eventual excuse to delete the sunroof, where the marks are occurring.

Add clear bra to the roof or maybe just the sunroof panel?
Will most bikes fit if you fit the sea sucker on the sunroof and rear window? I have a regular roof rack that I often use to transport my bikes, but it's a pain to install and remove the rack by myself. I've thought about getting this set up as it looks so quick and easy to install.

They advise to NOT use the suction mounts on vinyl/wrap/etc. for fear of the force of the cups pulling or stretching the material.
My mountain bike has an extremely long wheelbase, and I still have room, regarding length.
So I would think all bikes would fit, unless they are tandems.

Clear bra makes sense, have it professionally installed and you should be fully protected.
