Another great episode! Engine and intake look amazing. Check out Zircotec in the U.K for ceramic coating on the exhaust and other thermal management products.

Love the videos. Total mad scientist. Not just experimental in one area or system in the car but many. Needs a part, he just prints it. Going to be a hell of a car. Thanks for the videos. Kudos for being a creator and not a consumer.

My car came with RUF twin tail pipes. They melted the bumper. OEM is double skinned at the tail pipe and doesn’t give the same issue. Worth a thought.

I’m just in the process of setting up a back to back test coating vs the wrap. Will film it for sure :-)

Hi ,
Very interresting and well done !
The Denso COPs from motorcycle works on my engine, with the help of orings, they are small, light but also much simpler to wire.
All the best

Nice update, always enjoy watching. Those stainless steel zip ties stumped me at first. This video shed light on the roll method.

Default LSD help anyone?

Anyone with experience on the 996 cup type LSD? I’m getting 70Nm preload as compared to the 15Nm I was looking for.

When I open up the flanges I need 2mm across the 8 discs to get down to 15Nm. This seems difficult given that they are only 1mm each.

Anyone with any experience on this or with a workshop manual for this?

I watched this episode this AM. Very great info as always. I'm thinking that I may be more excited for the finish at this point then you are.

By the way, are you ever planning on selling your intake kit that you developed?

I can tell you I’m really starting to get excited for the first start up!

the things I’ve developed for my car are in my webshop at https://islandworks.one

The intakes are shipping regularly and keeps my build fueled so to speak.

Already watching - Love it. Really highlights the extra things that need to be considered once you have changed the original configuration of the engine...or basically how one mod leads to another. Lots of work?

Also appreciate you making all of this info available and transparent. I want that CF intake please
