Default Fast Turn Signal Stumper

I recently returned to my stock amber turn signals in front, I had the Dansk smoked units with the chrome amber bulbs in prior to that and they all worked fine. After switching them, I had a fast flash and now none of them are working so obviously thought I had a bad bulb or two.

I got all new bulbs for all four lights and replaced them and made sure all contacts were clean yet no change - still no front or rear signals and fast flash on the dash indicator. However, when I turn on the Hazards, the rears flash like they are supposed to, at the right speed even but nothing in front. All other lights work as they should.

At this point, I'm thinking it's either the relay or the switch itself. I searched every thread I could find relating to turn signals and have yet to find the same scenario - possibly the first time ever on Rennlist, lol.

Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance!

does it have the stock flasher? might want to try the flasher first. I wouldn't think you changed the bulb socket's.

Flasher as in relay? Yes, bulb sockets are stock. I did replace the entire switch assembly a few years ago.

Are the new bulbs LED or original? LEDs require a different load since they draw so much less power. When I switched to LED I also changed the relay to a solid state - take a look at Tore's website.
You can test the switch with a multimeter but I find it highly unlikely that it's the switch since it worked with the old bulbs, right?

Do you get any power at the sockets?

Standard bulbs not LED's. All worked fine before, I think the timing is a coincidence. Agreed on the switch, I ordered a relay, hopefully that solves it.

Wow, you are correct! Thank you, PET lists the part number as 900-631-127-90 which is an 1156, the correct part number is actually 900-631-128-90 which is a 7528, dual filament. Greatly appreciated!

On that note, I probably should have noticed the socket had two contacts, lol!
