Hi, here's a picture of mine. Sleeved S2 block with JE pistons, ppm rods and K27/8. Refurbed S2 head with standered valves and springs with modified Toyota inlet manifold as shown by Turbo Tim .
Engine cost about £4000 to build excluding things like clutch which is sprung 6 puck clutch. Spent another £1500 for ecu and tuning on rolling road.

Thanks Patrick , I hope to have figures and chart within the week as car is back being tuned with wasted spark due to a small miss higher up the rev range. I will post them up when I have them. Also fitted a Lindsey fuel rail since that picture due to a pin hole leak.

bumping this up, any progress out there?
pictures, dynos, thoughts and ramblings..?

i may make some progress on mine in the coming weeks.
my situation has always been that my fabrication stuff is at another house that i only get to every 2 months or so and not every time do i get to do 944 work.

however, that house is getting sold so i intend to "make the most of it while i can"...and then bring the tools and such back to my primary house so i can really go nuts...

Things are going a little slowly for me since we've received the motor down here. A few adjustments needed to be made plus fabricating other parts which I was hoping not to have to do like headers, x-over, modify billet turbo mount, new oil pump mount, new intake and a few other bits and pieces. Perhaps a couple more weeks and we can fire it up.

Lmao

You should see my recent list in ebay, from porsche parts to electric breast pumps and everything inbetween.

We definitely have to get together sometime.

I'm about to throw a bunch of cash at it again. I just got the LR stage 2 intercooler from Luis. It's that time again you know... I'm hoping by January it will all be done, at least by the time I can show it off. It's in the Paint shop now, my friend is painting it red and add a little of the red in the clear coat. All I need to finish my suspension is racer edge front hubs to replace the 4R hubs, just installed the 31 hollow tortion bars two weeks ago. The entire rear end is new or rebuilt and all upgraded. I wanted to get everything else done before the engine. Well the DOHC engine anyways. It's pretty nice. It would make Luis's eyebrow raise.
