Hi Paul, the head was on the car when I bought it last year. The previous owner had spent a lot of money on promax level 3 kit and had redone the head gasket where he had the head skimmed as I have the receipt. No mention of valve guides. The ceramic all looks good and the wear indicator shows it is still well within spec. Also have a new head gasket I can throw in.
I swapped the engine out for a 3 litre turbo I built. I can post you some photos after the weekend.
