Wires & 60 MPH ???
I need to replace my ignition wires as I have cross over.... BAD!!!!
Any suggestions on a set of wires???
I have seen the Taylor 8mm wire set from Lindsey...... any one have this set???
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also my Speedo does not work and I was trying to figure out at what RPM in which gear is 60mph achieved. Anyone know???
Thanks,
Paul

I would (and have) use magnecor. After you try these, you will wonder why the other stuff costs 3-4 and even 5x the price. I paid something like $52 shipped for my last set, very high quality, and quite durable as well.

The best part of my Magnecor wire experience was when I sold them used with 5000 miles on them on ebay for more than I paid for them new.
I like to read/change my plugs quite often, and the boots were just a pain in the ***. On three different occasions, I sent a wire back to Magnecor with a broken boot, and they repaired them free of charge each time (kudos to Magnecor for that). When installing the wires, I had trouble getting my hands between the intake manifold runners to get the wires to seat, so I often ended up using a tool to help me do this. No surprise that they weren't up to this.
I bought Beru OEM style wires for about $120 and have no hassles removing/installing the wires.

Ya, if I had to find something wrong w/them, the boots would be it. They are a little harder to install compared to most other types (compare a jacobs though, very good wire w/the worst boots, sure to rip EVERY time!) and they don't seem too bad. I think that if you don't remove your plugs often, these are the way to go.

I have the Magnecore wires and found a tool to install and remove the wires without any trouble.

I also saw the same tool at Sears but I do not recall how much it was there.

Yep... I asked the same question. I almost sh*t my pants when I seen the price on the magnacor's. $56 damn. I bought them yesterday and received them today. Kudo's to apexperformance for fast shipping.
I like the looks of the wires, hopefully they hold up.
