Strange how all 4 cylinders have two scores down each bore?

I think that's the reflection of garage lighting.

Are you going off the shelf piston, or custom?

Buying 8 pistons same as Shawns. SRP148750 Eagle rods with their Silent Armour if the place can order the rods that way. It's only 80.00$
It's going to be interesting to see how this 2.85L compares to the dyno and quarter mile results posted from the 106mm piston engine that blew up.
It will have a Rogue M-tune pre-LR version.

That scoring was the sand and gravel that was in the engine if I remember correctly and was not actually the lighting. Not sure if Michael will snap any photos when he gets the block. Supposed to be arriving to him today.

Then don't forget that you'll have to machine the pin bore. Wiseco will make some with the chevy tops and mitsu bottoms for just over 600. Might equal out when you factor in the machine cost. You'll just need to spec the 1.24 pin height and -32 cc dish.

Thanks that is good to know. I have not actually bought pistons yet. I take it you phoned them directly?

I remember watching RAGE's old youtube track videos many years ago. Great to see this car still in action.

I'm hoping to pick up a Lift King car lift when I get back from holidays and then get the Rage car back to my house. There will be 2 turbos in my garage and my friends down the street that I an working on. Still have to completely gut the Rage car.
