Default proper brake caliper adaptor needed for 87 951 w/ 996tt caliper & 993tt rotor

Forgive this old timer, had to pause the 951 project while I sold my 930...
Need to finish her up now, car came with 996tt brakes front & rear on 993tt rotors front with I believe 965 or 952 rear rotors. Rear caliper adapter is very high quality with steel thread inserts and an anodized finish on 7075. The front adapters look like they were made on a drill press out of square steel 1" bar and the holes where they bolt up to the spindle are super close to the edge. They seemed to have worked but I'd like to replace them... any pointers?

Not sure what will be required for your specific application but Lindsey has some options. http://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Parts/944BRAKEPART.html

As far as I can tell Linsey doesn't have any options for my specific combo...

If you can get a couple dimensions off your calipers and rotors, I can see if my latest adapters would work.

I can get you dimensions off of the caliper adapters that came on the car as a starting point. I will post them shortly, thanks for the help!

These came off of the front of the car, I had them bead blasted and powder coated and never really paid much attention to them until after I started to reassemble the suspension. I don't like how close to the edge the hole for the spindle bolt is... I think whomever made them just used 1.5" bar stock and drilled and tapped the holes to make everything work. This is using 996TT fronts calipers with 993TT rotors on an 87 951 suspension. Please let me know if you need any other specific measurements. Thanks in advance for your help!

Even for steel those are kinda scary.
What are the #'s on the calipers?
What is the center to center measurement on the caliper bolts? (Should be 142mm)
What is the rotor O.D.?
Take a look here....

Sorry for the long *** delay - built a new PC and I have some time to get back to the car!

- Calipers are genuine Porsche 996TT set F&R.
- Caliper bolt center to center is 142mm
- Rotor OD is 320mm

I can ship you the homebrew brackets if need be, I still need a solution to this, thanks in advance!

The reason why your steel adapter is machined that way is because the 322mm dia. rotor needs to be 330mm to give it that critical extra 5mm area surrounding that hole.

yeah but there is room on the bottom of the adapter for additional material. The adapter is made of bar stock, I think they just made do with what they had otherwise it doesn't make sense.
