Default Car goes on the Dyno tomorrow....tuning advice please....

So the car is going to get tuned tomorrow. I installed the wideband gauge and wired it up, they will drill the exhaust and install the O2 sensor before it is tuned.

My car has a 3 bar fuel pressure regulator, big turbo, 3" exhaust, and all the goodies.

Included with that is a chip with a switch that has multiple maps, one for stock, then 15 PSI, 18 PSI and 21 PSI. Right now it's on 15 PSI and the boost regulator is set to a maximum of 15 PSI.

I have a split second piggy back to adjust fuel trims for a given RPM and boost level.

Question: I will ONLY run pump gas (93 Octane in Chicago) and am planning on having it tuned to 15 PSI.

Using pump gas, should I or can I run 18 PSI and have it tuned? I change the fuel map, set up a different file in the Split Second timer, and then change the fuel maps accordingly. Or is 18 PSI just too much for pump gas/stock engine components?

The engine is stock (never been taken apart) and has 80K miles on it. I don't want to blow anything up.

I take it that the 21 PSI would only be for race fuel.

The car is getting professionally tuned, I will be there to watch and learn. Will video some of it.

Thanks for the advice!

What is the "big" turbo? The split second stuff is really old.

Without exact specs its hard to answer your questions.

The dyno should have its own O2 sensor (compare them to see if they are in agreement, I carry 2 on my car). Keep an eye on the AFRs and knocks. 18 psi is doable on 93 Octane dependent on timing.

Those are big injectors for only 15 psi... Same for the turbo.
