Race Video 944 V8
This is a very short qualifying race on Sunday morning. Started on pole and maintained the lead until the end (10 laps). It's a little dull because I did not pass anyone.
Track: Waterford Hills 1.4 miles
Classes: GT1, GT2, T1, American Sedan

Gt1 and gt2 can be very tough, good work. What cars were in the field? And so everyone else knows, 997 gt3 cup cars are gt2 and gt1 cars should be even faster than that...

GT1's were tube frame cars and Pro Vipers. One GT1 had 650HP@2800 pounds. It's really too much car for this track.
Because it's so close to home it's a perfect place to make sure everything works instead of a 3-5 hour pull to a big track.
It's funny how the tach is in just the right place!
Waterford is a challenging track. Sterling Moss said if you can go fast at Waterford you can be fast anywhere. He drove here years ago for a Historic event.

Looks like some fun but it is clearly too much car for that track. Needs wide open spaces by comparison. Great to have that 10 mins away though. I find it harder to reference the V8 cars vs normal i4 versions by virtue of the different engine revs. They don't sound like they're going as fast. Trick of the Ear! Let us know the next time you're going to be on TV Jim.
