My car is 1127 kg / 2485 lbs wet without fuel.
This is what comes to mind right now:
(edit: some other stuff came to mind )
Weight lost:
Totally gutted interior, underbody removed etc
Fiberglass: front fenders, rear fenders, front bumper, rear bumper, sunroof delete panel, doors, nose panel
Carbon: hood, dash
Polycarbonate front, rear, door and side windows
Carbon mirrors
Lightweight head lamps
Weight added:
Extensive cage
Air jacks
968 base engine with turbo, big intercooler etc
10x18+11x18 wheels weigh a bit more than stock narrow 16".
Splitter, diffusor, rear wing
Unknown factors.
Custom double A arm front suspension
996 rear multilink suspension
Fuel cell

My Turbo was 2750lbs with me in it...... My NA race car was 2178 with 3/4 tank of fuel when I got it. It's a shame I had to add over 300 pounds of ballast plus myself(150lbs) just to meet the 2,600min for SP1.

Full factory carpet and sound deadening. Recaro SRD's, Rennline rollbar, full A/C, cool suit tank in rear tire well. The only "lightening" I've done is pull the back seat, and that was more for aesthetics than weight.

Alright, will make an attempt to list what I"ve done.
When I was just under 2450 (empty), I had:
Fiberglass:
- Hood skin (just ran a skin)
- Front bumper cover
- Fenders
- Dash
Interior:
- Gutted to the point where I had cut out the mounts for the rear seats. No, they didn't weigh that much, but that should tell you how I approached gutting it, because it means different things to different people
- No HVAC of any shape, form, or fashion
- Cobra Suzuka seat
Lexan:
- Hatch
- Windshield
Electrical:
- Front body harness removed (not running fans)
- Braille battery
Other body:
- No wheel wells, no carbon canister
- ALl undercoating removed from firewall forward (mainly front wheel wells)
Since then, I've taken out a lot more weight, not sure exactly how much
- No more fusebox.......only wiring is DME/KLR harness, turbo water pump, rear brake lights, and gauges. So that means I have removed the rear tail light harness, all of the underdash stuff, switches to wipers, running lights, reverse lights, etc.
- Lexan quarter glass
- Fiberglass rear bumper
- Inner steel on doors removed
- Side mirrors replaced with roll cage mounted convex ones
- Removed transaxle cooling loop (the MIllers nanotechnology based oil tends to run about 25 degrees cooler, which enabled this.......I'm only runnning about 230 degree temps in the transaxle with it, now).
I've not reweighed it since then, but I think that I've probably taken close to another 60 pounds out of it. Goal is to get close to 2300 empty if I change from a turbo to an S (16V NA). I have some weight left in the wheels, rear wing, and front bumper support.
