How much does your car weigh?

+2. I'm right in that range as well for the 968 engined car but no ballast. My weight with me in it but fumes in the tank is 2615. There has to be more room to get weight out of my car after seeing all the lightweights in here.
The accusump must weigh quite a bit when it's full of oil too. I also like my metal rear bumper.

Since then, I've taken out a lot more weight, not sure exactly how much
- No more fusebox.......only wiring is DME/KLR harness, turbo water pump, rear brake lights, and gauges. So that means I have removed the rear tail light harness, all of the underdash stuff, switches to wipers, running lights, reverse lights, etc.
- Lexan quarter glass
- Fiberglass rear bumper
- Inner steel on doors removed
- Side mirrors replaced with roll cage mounted convex ones
- Removed transaxle cooling loop (the MIllers nanotechnology based oil tends to run about 25 degrees cooler, which enabled this.......I'm only runnning about 230 degree temps in the transaxle with it, now).
I've not reweighed it since then, but I think that I've probably taken close to another 60 pounds out of it. Goal is to get close to 2300 empty if I change from a turbo to an S (16V NA). I have some weight left in the wheels, rear wing, and front bumper support.

Is this with cage Harry? Are all the panels replaced with f/g or other composite? What about fluids....that's light!

My V8 951 race car is around 2650.
The S2 (S2 motor transplant into 83 body) WRL/endurance car weighs right in at 2200 full fuel. Stock body panels with exception of fiberglass rear bumper, header panel, and factory S2 front bumper, lexan. Lots of metal work to remove weight from panels.
Our 85 944 chump car weighs in at 2420 full fuel. All stock bodywork with lexan

Overlooked a couple of things (one of my removable windows was still in the door, and the shoulder harnesses on the passenger side were still attached), and then I removed the rear diffuser. 2355 right now.

That's very light Harry. Way lighter than mine by about 200lbs. Impressive!
