I did not try to go down the road of making my own. I got lucky and found a set, I think on Pelican, that came from a 924SE. The were cable operated but the mechanism was broken. Got them for a good price and was able to fix the adjusters. I have them on my track care and they look great.

Years back you had posted a question to the forum regarding DIY Turbo cup mirrors and I was wondering if you ever went down that road. I have had that same idea for awhile, along with the mirrors themselves, and have looked at it quite a bit but haven't gone to the next step (actually doing one!). If you tried it I'd be interested to know what your experience was like.
