Someone got a new car today and no it wasn't me. However, I just got this picture from someone who was there when the car came in. Sorry about it being big but thought you might like to see it all in good detail...I think the car only has 3 or 4000 miles on it. How many were actually built?

That'd make 2 in the state as one of the remaining four is already in New Orleans (#1) and for sale I might add. Each one has it's own history Attached and if I'm not mistaken that car shown with the Mobil livery was wrecked badly at one time, repaired and painted, then returned to the Mobil scheme.

Terry, we gotta come up with a way to make a hood like that. There are so many people that want a 968 Turbo RS hood.

I didn't know Bruce sold it. I saw it at new Hampshire Int'l Speedway last August at an Northeast region DE. I was checking out the naca duct and how it is mated to the stock air box because I have thought about if i can modify my car like this.

Hey Scott, Corpus Christi is going to have several hot cars now...Jasons 968 Turbo RS, his 951, and then Jims 86 951 with freshened engine, with Vitesse Stage II kit! Here is a picture of Jims car, you can barely see his painted calipers, they will be seen better when his new wheels come in.

Paragon has raised the bar. So, how about this as a marketing idea:
You spend, say, x number of $$ at Paragon, you get so many "PORSCHE points". When a certian number of points are accumulated, you get to take the 968 Turbo RS for a spin down the road and back in front of Paragon?

They changed the 968 site so fast that Jason is already listed as new owner.

Scott, pretty easily done re: the hood. There's a guy in Australia that bought the original 968 IC duct, made mold from the factory part and reproduces them. IIRC his name is Peter Fitzgerald and the company is Fitzgerald Racing. I talked back and forth through emails with him and he seemed interested and able to supply the duct. You'd have to mount it to a fiberglass though, it's cross section would cut right through the steel hood's support brace. I'm gonna do at least one....

He is going with the Cup 3? The ones with the twist..they're replicas, Mille Miglia, from TireRack, then Goodyear F1 DS G3 rubber.

Do you know Jim Cherry? He lives here where I do and he used to have a 944 turbo(built by Chris Cervilli), went to an RS America,,anyway, he has a set of Kinesis wheels left over from the 951 that he wants to sell. I'll go see what they are when I get home and how much, with race tires, 200 miles on them he says.
