Default Want: Spring plates with no bushings

Will pay a handsome reward for pre-cleaned spring plates.
In 3 hours I have managed to get 1.2 of the 4 bushings removed.

Soak overnight in a solvent like mineral spirits. Use a pneumatic chisel. If those aren't an option, cook them in charcoal. Both methods make it quick.

I got a charcoal grill from a neighbor who is moving. One side is now in the grill cooking.

I'm not doing AMP, I don't think I want to go to an open lapping day with no instructor on a brand new to me track. Yea I want those camber plates, I should be fine with the camber I can get out of the eccentrics.

Well that was actually pretty painless. I'm sure my neighbors are wondering what is going on though...

I'm occasionally good for something. Even if I stole the idea from Van or someone else.

Hah, thanks Harry! I did find the charcoal method but figured my neighbors would hate me. Oh well..

Shawn, I have the Elephant Racing poly-bronze bushings for the spring plates and Powerflex black for the rest.
