Opinions/options on Wastegates upgrades
Other than the LR Dual Port what are wastegate replacement/upgrade options? I have seached on this but all the info seems, at best, several years old. What's current and if it's a non-stock replacement who makes adapter plates for as close-as-possible bolt in replacement?
Thx.
Michael

I run the TiAL F38. I got the adapter plates from fejjj.

I am currently running around 16 PSI with a manual boost controller and it holds it perfect.

It seems one guy had a bad experience. I choice a TiAL because it's what most people recommended and I didn't read anything bad about them.

I believe one side of the F46 bolts up directly. You would have to weld on the correct size flange for the other side.
A bigger wastegate prevents boost creep.

I am running a Tial 46 mm. It bolts up to the cross over side and a custom dump pipe or modified one has to be made. It is a great wastegate, although an overkill on my car.

I'm running a F46 too. The outlet flange is smaller in diameter than the factory tubing, so I cut the pipe back and welded in the appropriate sized reducer.

Thx for all the info on the F46. It is quite a bit more $$ than the F38 but the F38 also requires the adapter plate from fejjing which adds $130 to the cost. I'll let ya know which direction I end up going, F38 or F46
Thx for all the help

Michael, we're running a Turbosmart. Compact and good quality. No issues.
