Kit Shipment Status
I’ve been working on packaging all of the kit parts and hardware. It’s not as much fun as it sounds 🙂. I found some more hardware missing (PS pump and pulley mounting) so that stuff will be in tomorrow. Also ordered o-rings for the valve covers. Anyway, now hoping/planning to ship everything out on Saturday. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for your continued patience.

cool! Yeah ripping stainless steel doesn’t work too well. Also i don’t think it would be good to cut the scrubbers with shears because then you’ll have a possibility of little pieces falling into the engine (in our case with it located in the valve cover).

I did a little checking today after work on throttle bodies . The older MK3 VR6 drive by cable versions from 96` through 98` have the same bolt pattern as the 07k one . I have already found a pinout to wire it in for anybody that was going the standalone route . Included is a pic of the pinout for reference .

Trying to round up one to test fit , I’ll hopefully know something this evening . I have one , but drilled the mounting holes out a couple sizes to bolt onto a 944 turbo intake . It has since been repurposed to the 928

What a triumph Alan! Congratulations!!
i am also curious; i've had a big problem recently, with not having enough hydraulic pressure while shifting... (as in... i push down on the clutch and there's not enough release).
How bad is it? .... Well, it was never really very good (straight from E. Hill), & shifting into reverse had always been a problem. ...I swapped out the slave pump for a new one, and that helped a little at first, but shifting (over time) has just gotten worse. i've recently had to resort to shutting the car off in order to safely shift into Reverse. Curious. Is there a decisive cure for my Spec V8 Stage 2 Clutch/C5 bellhousing setup/woes?
