My hat is off to you, sir, for the work you've been doing with that install.
I'm in awe... my swap project looks good, but not like that!
I found these Scotch Brite brand stainless steel scrubbers that fit well. I’m including them in the breather boxes on this first batch of kits. But, feel free to swap out to a material that you prefer.

I've seen that one - pretty cool. The I5 seems like it would fit similarly but that extra bump out at the top of the motor concerns me.
I have a '68 911. Not sure of the differences in sheet metal back there relative to a 964, but if it would help I can take some measurements and see if the 07K would fit. The car is at my buddy's shop, so it would be next week before I could look at it.

Default Kit Shipment Status

I’ve been working on packaging all of the kit parts and hardware. It’s not as much fun as it sounds 🙂. I found some more hardware missing (PS pump and pulley mounting) so that stuff will be in tomorrow. Also ordered o-rings for the valve covers. Anyway, now hoping/planning to ship everything out on Saturday. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for your continued patience.

cool! Yeah ripping stainless steel doesn’t work too well. Also i don’t think it would be good to cut the scrubbers with shears because then you’ll have a possibility of little pieces falling into the engine (in our case with it located in the valve cover).

Looking into engine management options now, and I think cable throttle will be simplest to start with. Does anyone have one of these 96-98 VR6 TB's sitting around that I could borrow to make sure it fits my intake manifold design and clears the hood? PM me if you do. thanks. Guessing I will need to add a mounting boss and holes to the casting for a cable bracket as well.

Yeah I think that's right. If nobody has one to lend me, I'll just buy one. Part number 021133064A, I think.

Trying to round up one to test fit , I’ll hopefully know something this evening . I have one , but drilled the mounting holes out a couple sizes to bolt onto a 944 turbo intake . It has since been repurposed to the 928

What a triumph Alan! Congratulations!!
i am also curious; i've had a big problem recently, with not having enough hydraulic pressure while shifting... (as in... i push down on the clutch and there's not enough release).
How bad is it? .... Well, it was never really very good (straight from E. Hill), & shifting into reverse had always been a problem. ...I swapped out the slave pump for a new one, and that helped a little at first, but shifting (over time) has just gotten worse. i've recently had to resort to shutting the car off in order to safely shift into Reverse. Curious. Is there a decisive cure for my Spec V8 Stage 2 Clutch/C5 bellhousing setup/woes?
