If you watch a few more vids, he runs 10.17 @127. Totally badass car. I want to see what the drivetrain is like.

I was hoping you'd see it Sid,

I think you should go this way, seems as though 10 seconds in a 944 isn't that hard

need more power? More batteries!!

That's awesome! Some guys at my college built an electric 924S which was pretty sweet. Did it for nearly free after the money they got from the government for doing the conversion.

Yep, thanks Kyle. Shortblock is in now. Just doing all the custom plumbing etc.

Lol, if I were to make mine a dedicated drag car it eould be easier for sure. I like to drive it daily though. I would like to do an electric conversion for a dd though. It's pretty expensive from what I've read )to have capability of 80 mph sustained)

It's intriguing though for sure.

Paully, if you find a link that I could ask about drivetrain please send it my way.

Regardless of power plant, to achieve that low of ET, it isaking some crazy tq through the rpms. If its a converted auto with a separate differential, it doesn't interest me much. However, if it's a transaxle design still.. I'm all ears!!

Thank for the link. 4link coil over using a 9" ford diff.

Meh, now I don't care too much (other than being electric).

Still an awesome build.

Probably gave up on the transaxle long ago. For a drag car I don't blame them.

Very cool, I've always loved electric cars.

I just hope they find a more efficient battery than we have today, I think its a great idea to assign 200-300 electric golf carts to each town just to put an end to wasting fuel to run your chores.

Gasoline should be left for car enthusiasts like us, which of whom are a small percentage of the driving population, for weekend enjoyment; and planes/boats. Fuel problems solved.

At least it was faster than the Tesla (I think stock Tesla = 12.2). You really need to be in Sid territory upgrade wise, to handle one of those (Teslas) at the stoplight. I find that a little irritating TBH.

Hey, long time no see.

I like those teslas. A customer has one and it's a hoot to drive. Honestly it puts all the top cars (bmw, audi, merc) to shame off the line.

I honestly wish that I would have ran with that technology years ago. If only I hadith time and space....along with lots o $$$$
