WTB Late 87+ balance shaft cover
Anyone willing to sell or donate a good balance shaft cover?
We've tried to repair mine, but it's not happening.
It has to be a late one from an '87+ & In good working condition. I don't need any bolts or caps. It's the lower cover with out the turbo oil feed on it.
So if anyone is willing to Donate one or sell at a good price I'll be happy to take it off your hands.
Thanks!

I'm aware of that van, thanks!
Mine has been nothing but trouble ever since we put the wrong bearing in there. Late engine in early car with early engine numbers! work that out.
PM Send Doug, Thanks!

The last thing you'd want to do is bolt one on and call it a day. But you can machine it to work.

This is a bit like semantics. They are just like rods or main bearing caps. They are attached, then line bored. So they are machined together. You can get around this by broaching the caps, and re-line-boring it. That's how they re-man rods (broach the cap, then re-bore).

Even after welding my original one, the shaft wouldn't spin. aluminium moves..
And because the casting wasn't 100% solid which caused a huge issue in welding up the cracks.. we had to re-weld the bearing seat.
