It does get a little heat soak when standing in traffic, temps up to 50 degrees but that soon drops when moving. I am well pleased, well worth the wait.

He runs E85 at the track. Still drives it on the street but doesn't speed so no real way of comparing.

No. In the end I went for the garrett stage five turbo with the T350 wheel, works very well, back pressure is a little high at the higher rev range but I am using it mainly for road use.

On the YB cosworth engines we would run close to 700 bhp on pump fuel, which is were we drew the line. Not rev's or boost.

With an iron block obviously. Your build is amazing and I'm not criticising it. Duke and JET951 built 16v turbo engines so I referred to them for comparison. As you say yours is a road car so hopefully it wont have crank/block issues. Do you plan to take it on track days though...

No, we run the new alloy block to 700 bhp on pump fuel. As for my car, yes its going to be used mainly on the road but I am also hoping to get it on a track day or two. I need to sort the brakes first.

I see, thought the iron block with liners fitted was good for big power ? Have you still got the S2 brakes on your car.

Still got S2 brakes at moment and they are nowhere near good enough, but I have just purchased a set of 365mm 6 pot AP's for the front and 355mm 4 pot AP's for the rear. I'm hoping I can machine a Standard rear disc to except a small bell between the handbrake drum and the new AP disc.

Hi, Sorry I've not been around lately, we have been seriously busy at work. I've still not got the brakes fitted to the car and I don't like using it when its a struggle to stop. Has soon as I get time to do some video I will. A friend as one of them go-pro cameras I can use. Should be good.

Sorry I have had no time, I've got some brakes being made to fit the car at the moment. Then its down to weather conditions and somewhere to run it safely. I will update as soon as I have something worth putting on.

Cheers Tim

The fronts are a set of GT3 bells I purchased off Ebay to go with 365mm disc's and 6 pot AP calipers. I am going to run Performance Friction pads front and rear.

Hopefully I should be able to get the car in the workshop soon and get them fitted.
It should stop with these on, I think.
