Wednesday is OK.
Thursday is not practical: ISO / OHSAS audit by a 4 man team from client, thus most probably totally worn out when I get home (if I get there.....)

Thanks for caring!!

Please tell that kid on your lap that even now it is very hard to find something safer than a 944 from way back when (I have seen the remainance of several collission involved 944 cars, among them one that got sandwitched at 100 mls/hr on the german motorway and a racer that climbed the rails and hit a sign post buildingon a race track).
And then take him out for a spin!!

Great eyes that kid has!!!

@Hans, it's still safer than most recent cars.. I still don't want to crash in a VW Golf.. Or a Suzuki swift (especially the last one..). As well as Hans i've seen several 944's crash (mostly on the track) but the driver never gets hurt just the slightest bit!

@black944turbo, thanks, that is exactly what i'm aiming at, having the 944 N/A look but with 996 turbo power..

I don't mind crashing your DV [ ] (or mine fot that matter): it has the same side impact protection as the 944....
The built-in roll cage is Porsche 944 speciffic though.

Well, here is another small update:

Went to the track last saturday to test out my car before it's getting it's new engine.. SNOW, SNOW everywhere! So no driving on the track.. Luckily the drifters made a small parcours at the parking lot which let me to do this:

Further: I ordered my wastegate, a black Tial 44mm

I've had my strut brace rewelded, perfectly done but no picture yet. Installed my new targa roof without the interior, to put my gopro in it and get myself some extra headspace (big boy..)

Also added the Toyo R888 tyres and i found out that they will fit over the turbobrakes; i'll definately have to get my own set of those to get me the real sleeperlook as soon as the new engine is in!

This saturday i'm going to get my gearshifter in the right place, at this moment it's on the normal place but i would like to have it next to my steering wheel. So i have to get a tube, weld it on and bent it. When it's done i'll show some pictures!

Well.. Haven't done any updates lately so here is one:

Today my new wastegate came in.. This thing is HUUUGGGEEE!! 44mm Tial dual port.

Further not much to update, ordered the new dust caps at Paragon for my new brake calipers so they should come in next week at the guy i bought the injectors from. He's shipping them for me (Thanks again!)

Also ordered the exhaust/intercooler/wastegate piping. As i'm doing a screemer pipe it won't need much. And ordered all the flanges. They should be here in 3 weeks or so.

Hopefully the engine builder will be sending me the pricing of getting the sleeves and pistons so he can get to work soon!

Picture of the wastegate package:

Going to place those bulbs in my GTS headlight conversion. As i've already got the Bi-Xenon H4 headlights, this won't cost a lot!

Further; Drilling out of cylinderwalls has begun this week. As soon as the sleeves are i'm i'll post some pictures!

So Bas, are those Bi-Xenon headlights like the BMW 'Angel Eyes' with the outer ring? You're going to fit them in a non pop up bucket?

Patrick,

These are not like the BMW Angel Eyes, they are just "bulbs". And yes i'm going to place them in a non pop-up bucket. I'll be needing room for my 4" inlet pipe and also to replace the coolant expansion vessel. I want it placed where the light pop-up motor is now.

They will look like this, i had a picture of these installed but the link doesn't work anymore!
