Looks real nice! Are you going to run a blanket on the turbine? Looks pretty close.

Well guys.. It was about time i would start to share some information again!

Intercooler is finished, intercooler piping is finished, bov is placed.

Ordered my VEMS, wiring harness along with it. Boost solenoid, controlled by the VEMS. Fuel lines have been put in place from front to back. (10mm inside)

Injectors are here, 2000cc Bosch EV14's.

So here some pictures: (the intercooler tubing has been cleaned and flattened)

Voith, thanks much for posting this. John Edwards wrote the publications for Sunnen http://www.engine-machining.com/My%2...ites/pubs1.htm

If he doesn't know the process, then no one does. I spoke with him on Monday and his background and experience is more than impressive. He's been doing Alusil since the Vega days and understands this probably more than anyone. He has a complete foundry and can fab any part. Not your average machine shop by any stretch.

He's very familiar with the 944 engine and will be doing my 3.0. He works on his terms and is not a quick turn. Won't mind waiting.

Great, happy to hear that. I watched most of his videos and always enjoy them. If I had the option, I too would trust him the job.

I did this exposing procedure this weekend on my block, and as far as I can tell, it came out great. I will have it measured before assembly to confirm, but it looks good.

I will post a writeup on the procedure here: https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...it-look-4.html

Yeah i really have to do that..

Working on wiring harness now, made a fuel rail. Going to get my intake manifold finished next week so i can sandblast it and paint it.

After that it's finishing the wiring harness which will take quite some time!

How did this build go in the end?

Any drawings of the intake?

Almost done! Been doing a lot of work in the last 2 months. She will be driving before spring and hopefully the engine will run this year.
