Or clearance the shield by driving a pry bar between them

Edit; sorry I didn't read that there was no room.

Guess I was not clear, just a bit of whining go on . I have been re-doing the down pipe last two night with the motor in the car. It is going fine, just set my schedule back a few days.

Have you already checked that the cross pipe cleared the steering linkage?

Got to admit, the new harness is pretty cool

Nice i wish i had done that too but i didn't want to rip that out as i have my loggers connected to it and other stuff.

BTW i would have the oil filter in a more accessible location so it's serviceable easily. i originally was going to put it there but when i though about cleaning it, it wouldn't be easy to get to.

I considered that but then I realized I pull the intake like every other week.

Yep, quite a bit of work with all the extra stuff we wire in. I went ahead and made sub-harnesses for the logger and other mods so they just plug-in in the cabin.

Did you send out the DME for a rebuild as well "ecudoctors" may be a good idea now that you have done the new harness and everything else is so fresh.

I think they charge like 400+ for that ... not cheap
But I guess if you are suspect ... then it's insurance ...
I was lucky... ,when my KLR went on the fritz .. I called the resident propeller head .. and he fixed it for me ....
