There is a picture on it either here or on the V8 forum. On the other side of the firewall is a vacuum booster and the MC. Great idea if you can relocate the fuse/relay box. IIRC, it was a race car so it had minimal electronics.

Ah, i see. Makes more sense now. The brake master is where the fusebox used to be and the clutch master is right underneath the pivot.

car is doing great. I had some issues with a loose rear but the Tilton adj brake bias fixed that. I broke my factory LSD carrier and replaced that with a 50/80 Guards. Last I stopped using take-off Hoosiers leftover from other racers and can actually work on dialing in my Motons.

My future plans are to replace the Safety Devices cage with a true weld-in and finish stripping the rest of the interior. Bruce is going to replace my Torsion tube with his gizmo as well. I still have to upgrade the driver - been riding sportbikes for the last 6 months and have gotten very little seat time at the track on 4 wheels

Interesting about the factory LSD carrier. I broke one as well, which basically destroyed the rest of the trans. I still have mine as a momento.

Wow. That is a very nice build. Well done. I can't believe I didn't see more praises. I see your Throttle body relocation allowed you to bypass the spacers. I guess I just haven't seen you on here much. Thanks for sharing.

It does look nice! I actually think everyone did a great job on the swap here!

I'm not sure i like the throttle body relocation, but it does serve a purpose.

Thanks! Yeah the TB relocation helps a lot, but the hood still rubs even with the stiffening ribs shaved. I am planning to make a hood with about 1/4" bulge to give it clearance. I'll either get a stock hood worked with an English wheel or make one out of carbon or FRP.

If you have no spacers, why not just add 1/4" spacers ?

Just wondering if anyone has seen any good ls engine builds where the owner
destroked and switched to a flat crank? I'm not a fan of that American V8 sound, though it makes a very nice engine.
