Spencer, it's bc it's the 928 to and we only added small beads around the edge. I've already pulled it and welded a fat bead all the way around. It should be good now.

Just updating this as I go along. Again the delrin buttons seem to be working ok. I am still on the same axles.
After racing weds and blowing up the IC coupler I decided I'd go up on friday (actually my daughter talked me into it). I thought I had everything dialed but I had a new issue arise. The IC coupler came off right at the TB. I did get a decent run in to qualify(11.6@126+ on low boost) for king street but then on my first round run It blew off again at 18 psi. I didn't care bc I wanted to get out of there asap anyway. However, it did get the best 60' for awhile (no broken axle) and the 1/8mile et and mph were great. Doing the math, it should have ran around a 11.0-11.2 and definitely over 130. Fixed it and went home to watch fireworks somewhere else.
Drove the car all weekend through canyons. highways etc..was a fun weekend.
Couple pics from my adventures.

It was 12.0@98
It went 104 in the eighth. It's ran 11.22 and my best mph is 129+.
It's about 600 rwhp when it goes 129. On the pass posted above, it most likely would have went 132 based on my 1\2 track speed.
It's ran consistent low 11.s the last few months. I'll turn it up pretty soon.
Good to see you back around here

Just to give a bit of perspective to what Sid has been doing, the car below belongs to a friend of mine from high school. He has had the car for over 30 years. We rebuilt the original motor in my dads shop in 1981. This guy is a great mechanic, been racing his whole adult life and he recently built a very nice small block stroker for his Camaro. He lives in Grand Junction (5000 ft) and has been trying to get the car into the 10's with street tires. He ran mid 11's this last weekend. What Sid has been doing in his 951 at altitude is nothing short of amazing.

Amazing indeed. What kind of safety equipment do they make you have at those ET/Trap speeds? Full cage? Clutch blanket/protection? Racing harness?

Thanjs Shawn, another perspective is that in the photo I podted, only a couple cars are faster than I am.
Tom, for my car, I just need a 6 point bar and 5 point harness.
