There is very little noise (when its open) It's because the center (tong) vibrates between the sunroof wind damper ... Nothing a little felt wont cure.
Other than that I really didn't hear and wind noise ... Closed..... its like a vault

The new Saratoga is mercifully free of wind noise. My old one was intolerable (except I guess I tolerated it for years...)

So to all who were worried about a bronze tint, from what I see here, no issues. I get mine today.

Mine apparently got to the FedEx depot 5 miles from my house yesterday, so hopefully today.

Stephen: I can't believe you had to wait to get yours just like the rest of us mere mortals after the miracle you pulled off making this happen. Enjoy it in good health sir!

Geeze, $700 discounted to $500? I assume the 100 at $300 are already gone.

Well, I should have checked back here sooner. I remember this thread from last year, but I didn't check back until now. Honestly, I didn't think it was going to happen. So congrats for making this happen... but $500?? Ouch.

Eh, let em charge that: it's worth it. Original Saratogas in worse shape go for more. This one is brand new and has a much better seal.

I'm pretty sure that 944 owners have a tolerance for about $3-400. Any time we're asked to pay more for something, then we start complaining "why aren't parts as cheap as a Civic".

Despite the astoundingly astronomical costs for limited-run, OE moon roof conversions, the 944 still is one of the cheapest Porsches to own, by a mile. The 911 schmucks fork over THOUSANDS for crap like this.

FWIW I'm not a huge fan of the shipping/tax either, but whatever.
