That's actually pretty much what you're faced with. That is, you can go for more wheel/tyre but that might be at the expense of ride height. I was faced with the same question. I asked around a bit and got varying opinions as to what was more important, CoG or Mechanical grip? Can't say that I got 100% assurance to that question either. There are many variables to take into account. I think ultimately if you go for a bit of a compromise it may be the best way to attack it. Oddly enough when I asked a true aero expert he said against his instinct it may well suit to go for more rubber than lower ride height...but this was not taken as his outright viewpoint and he also mentioned too many variables to consider. You will be able to fit your fronts and rears pretty easily and have the advantage of being able to use spacers. I am not sure how much the B/foot nose piece adds to your space but they quote 1" either side. So this will give you enough room to play about a bit with spacers.

^^Don't want to hijack Pat's thread any further. There are quite a few in-car videos links floating around in other threads. TV coverage of our series tended to focus only the leading class of GT cars, so I only have a few odd clips of the car running from the outside. One of these days I will get organised to upload a decent compilation.

Let me also add this. Patrick also REALLY knows his tracks. He knows where he's going to run, mostly, and his car is set up for those tracks where he spends most of his time. YUour set up needs to be based on your knowledge of the tracks you plan to "MOSTLY" run. The end answer, to your original question is; "it depends".
Patrick deserves the, "Rennlist 951 Nut" of the year award.
