Just set her down on the ground... Man it's lower than I remember!

I was just looking at my engine bay and thinking how vastly different it looks than it did when I bought it just nine months ago...

here's a pic of the engine bay when I bought the car:

And here's one of it now:

All I can say is

Still haven't driven it... gotta go run some errands, but it will be driven before the day is out!

Thanks! If you click the picture in the post that says "its alive", it'll take you to a video of it running... I'll take another one once I've gotten it out of the garage.

The blue and black color scheme looks great!

What's the huge ground cable coming off the upper balance shaft housing for?

Looks good! If I trusted myself that much with a rattle can I'd do the same black color scheme in my engine bay.

That ground cable came with my IceShark wiring kit... it's just an extra ground. Not completely sure it does much, but it definitely doesn't do anything bad.

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone!

I'm not sure if I understand how to tell the difference... It's just as the dash gauge passes the 0, and then there's a bit of a backfire and it's like I have no Ignition for a brief moment... Since I really didn't want to break my car on it's first drive since the rebuild, I didn't try to "push through" the stumble, but it went back to seeming normal after I quickly lifted. I tried again, and just like before, right when the needle passes the 0, it fell on it's face.

Ok, sticking to one thread...

It sounds more like a coupler off or a vacuum leak. What kind of vacuum is the motor pulling at idle?
