hey guys, speaking about corvettes vs vipers, did anyone see the new 750 hp twin turbo corvette by lingenfelter? It has around 700 pounds of torque, and with mickey thompson cheater slicks, it did hit 60 miles per hour in just 1.9 seconds! That's right, 1.9 sec's. Burning Brakes
The new cheap speed will be the 2003 Mustang Cobra. Faster than a non-z06 vette (0-60 in 4.5, 12.9 qtr) with 3.55 gears. A simple swap to 4.10 gears should put it in z06 territory, and possibilities of more power by swapping pulleys for more boost. At 35k it makes the vette suddenly seem high-priced.
