Yea, I understand the sentiments. Some people really want to be helpful, yet others tend to be disrespectful and rude unfortunately.

No kidding, I miss the old days on the email list. There are a few of us left and a whole bunch of new folks. To their defense, there are some very knowledgble folks here along with some folks that have a bit to learn. Hopefully you'll stick around and help us teach them.

I lurk mostly these days. Always read the threads of about a dozen people and tend to ignore the rest. Too much BS about nothing these days. Plenty of threads regarding champagne taste with beer money.

The old days are gone. All of the people that knew what they were talking about have dissipated.

Now all that remains are the college kids who take it upon themselves to reply to every thread, spitting out nothing but useless information and upping their post count.

I feel so dissipated…..

I will say that I do skip a lot of posts due to the same questions being asked over and over. In the case of asking a brake pad questions you might ask well ask about religion or politics!

You guys are forgetting the vendor wars, they got REAL ugly. But, there was a joy in trying something new and sharing it and that has tarnished over time.

yeah that was brutal at the time it was: this guy's turbo wasn't tuned with the proper software.......................
I don't think it benefited any of us, at the time we needed to keep the list going
A few volunteers kept it going so as to not have to shut down the server >>>>>Porsche said we were infringing on copyrights.
