Lets talk 93 octane
So a lot of the gas stations in my area are ditching 91 for 93, but the catch is it has 10% added ethanol. So I was wondering if its safe to run. I don't see why it wouldn't work. My car still has the stock injectors with the max 951 chips if that matters.

the smart money is having your FQR set to the richest setting for those who don't have widband and clever chips etc .. to be burning hot its lean as ethanol burns cooler then petrol.
the US tends to have a bit more consumer rights strength but i we have found in AUS that ethanol is not as clean as should be so you need to keep an eye on your filter injectors etc i have seen some trashed fuel systems from ethanol rich fuels but the cars where left sitting .
I really believe in ethanol as a fuel but i would take a few little precautions like throw injector cleaner in every now and then and change your fuel filter every couple of years and check the FQR if not proper wide band etc ..

Check your owner's manual, as your car is a few years earlier, at least mine specifically approves up to 10% ethanol. That doesn't mean that your specific tune will handle it, or that your ethanol isn't contaminated with anything, but at least it shouldn't dissolve or disintegrate any of your fuel system components, which is the major danger of ethanol.

So E10 would be still 93 octane but just slightly leaner than 100% gas. Or maybe a tick over 93 due to the ethanol having higher octane rating than standard gas?
So as mentioned, maybe run a hair richer to be safe.
Although, I thought most gas stations have been running E10 for some time now even if not posted at the pump? Also, I think most stations run E10 in the winter anyway.

So would I really benefit from E85 on the stock turbo? Do I need bigger injectors?
