Since we are changing Motronic to Tatech we think possibilities to make installation a little bit easier. 968 & S2 use newer version of Motronic which has a bit different triggering than 944 & 951. A friend of mine will fabricate a 951 compatible flywheel with "modern style S2/968" 60-2 gears, so there will only be one crank sensor and we also get rid of the speed sensor. Might be possible that we will install another 968 & S2 style sensor on cam wheel. Another friend already made necessary CAD drawings and we are more or less ready to produce 951 60-2 flywheel for our project.

Had a design session with Antti yesterday. We would like to have a powersteering reservoir which does not leak like oem system does. Found this design from a BMW-forum. It's nice, but does not eliminate the major problem. We plan to use AN-style fittings which are superior compared to oem design. We toyed with an idea to produce similar style bow and oil catch tank made also form billet with AN-fittings.

Olli, you do know they do offer pipes shorter than 15 feet long? 
Having just completed my rear wheel bearing replacement, I used 3/4 inch drive beaker bar / extension / socket, and put a 4 foot pipe on the breaker bar... worked like a charm! But then my trailing arms were still on the car... I like the adapter for holding the hub with the arms off the car... some very nice parts pictured, and nice tooling being used!

They don't have filter inside like the stock one has at the bottom of the tank.....
My second guess, they don't have a built in dip stick in the cap to measuer the fluid level?

While i was putting Jaybird Hockey tape on some wires, son painted his burgundy dash and some other parts to black.
First he washed the parts and used some silicon remove stuff
Then fresh black paint
Painted parts looks in live like factory new
Next items to be painted are 968 door panels, which are now blue

That painted dash looks killer. I used something similar to get my rear hatch carpet dyed back to black (PO spilled some chlorine or something) and I couldn't believe how well it looked for a $5 can of paint.
I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about... indeed. I bet if we had ads like that in America our newspapers wouldn't all be going bankrupt!

OK, less important issues; paint we used is normal VHT vinyl paint. I tested it first time in the late '70's and have been used it ever since. Great product
