9lbs!? Each? I have a set of both. I will weigh them tomorrow when I get back 2 the shop. Also, HELL YEAH I'm running Tilton pedal assembly with dual masters and clutch.-aluminum - overhung. Just finished fabricating pedal mount last week.

According to that chart it is approx. 9lbs each. Wonder how much c/f rotors might come down to in the future?

So with your setup you will have a lot of control. Can't wait to see and hear your car back on Video!!

ok... the caliper holes are drilled and tapped, and now they are anodized. They would be ready to go BUT.... I can't freakin find someone who is selling Allen socket head 12x1.5x40mm bolts to attach these to the spindle. All the 12x1.75 i can find and swim in,, but not the x 1.5 thread. (short - 40mm long) Its ridiculous. I had no idea I would have this trouble.. Its crazy.. so if someone knows a buddy that knows someone.. that'd be great. I could cut down the caliper bolts? !! Otherwise they are ready to go.

Looking good so far mate. Did you ever weigh those different rotors? I'd be interested to hear the difference. So just to clarify, are you going to run the 330mm or 350mm rotors? You are going to have to wind a few layers of Cellotape across your eyeballs to stop them coming out, just make it clear so you can still see!!

I've ordered some racing hats and slotted rotors. Hope to save a bit of unsprung weight and increase life of rotors by a LOT! I'll weigh them when they get here. Just the fronts at this stage.

Nope.. I didn't have the right rotors lying around. I thought I did. 330's right away, but I am really liking the 350mm ones you are getting.

the Nascar hat mounted set up is about 3kg lighter its not the hats but the porsche disc and caliper is much heavier ...
Bruce i think i have those bolts .. hex head not socket don't be so posh ..
they came with my lindsey adaptors ...but i had to go longer ..

Nah, that was just Bruce coming out...oh, you were making a gay joke, beat me to it.

Bruce, I'm actually having to stick with the 322x32mm rotors. Just to fit the BReds.

You can get the bolts you need from Metric & Multistandard http://www.metricmcc.com. Actually 40 mm sounds short. When I was doing the big brake kits I was using a 55 mm length. Specifically you're looking for a M12 Hex Head 12 x 1.5 x 55 Grade 8.8 minimum. They also have grade 10.9. You also need a 125A washer.

Metric & Multistardard is at (800) 221-4469. Talk to Jan Kozlowski (assuming she's still there... it's been a few years since I ordered from these folks)

Thanks Gene. Just picked up an 86 951 so I'm back in Porschedom! Yeah! Working hard with the new brake fluid, RS683. Things are going well. RS683 is on the cover of the 2010 Pegasus catalog as a featured new product and Andretti Autosport is testing in 2 wks.

AWESOME. I was hoping someone could help.. thank you! but actually, just 40mm.. that's it. bolts on the side of the adapter, not the actual caliper bolts. (from top)
