Timing belt tensioner bolt sheared off in the block. Jumped enough teeth on the belt to stall the engine but didn't bend a single valve. Scary lucky.

After using a reverse bit to remove what was in the block:

So, I just spent $30,000 on an all out race built 2.5 liter with 400hp from Powerhaus. At about 3,000 miles, a Lingenfelter prepped Firebird with a 383 stroker kept poking at me. At the time, I thought my motor was so fast, and I couldn't hold back. Over revved in second. Completely melted the piston. Still beat him. . Took me a year and a half to save for my motor now. My fourth one. I was like **** my life right now!!!
