Default New 944 Turbo Owner

I wanted to introduce myself as a new 944 Turbo owner. I just recently purchased a 1986 with 58,000 miles. I have attached a few photos of my car. It is bone stock and I just had the clutch and timing belt replaced. I just wanted to say that this forum is a great resource and I have already had many problems solved using this forum.

Wow, nice car. Photos look like they were taken in 1987 Someone really took care of that car all these years. Belts and the clutch are the biggies as far as maintenance so you got that out of the way right off the bat.

I have an 86 also. I like the wheel offset and lack of airbags in the early cars.

Have fun with it.

Thanks for the comments. The paint does seem to be in really good condition for the age other than the cracked stone guards I need to replace. I have put 2 coats of Meguiar's Tech Wax 2 on the car since I bought it and it has done wonders.

Welcome! Man, she looks very original! Not that there is anything wrong with that.
Got any underhood shots? Strangely, Ohio seems to be a hotbed of 944 and Rennlist activity!
