Maybe he's busy bagging the hookers and beer? If you guys were talking any other month than July I might be able to make it out. Unfortunately i'll be headed to Dallas in July for the Porsche meet. If this ever actually happens can someone get pics/vids.

Oh and if tone does come back in this thread and its on, lets set something up for charity on the shirts, winnings. I'll buy one. Rennwish perhaps?
I'm not trying to dog him... but I want to get my schedule set as the track is over 500 miles away.

I'll save the beating for the track

Let's give him a few days before assuming he's backed out.

I'll race if you can air freight my car over there. Hell, the engine's still in the US. Should be cheaper shipping

He wanted to run me in Phoenix not Las Vegas BTW.

And I hope he'll do just that... put up or shut up. Or... act like a normal enthusiast.

Other than that... I'm fully ready to do Phoenix International Raceway (PIR).

Actually... it was an excuse for me to to run that track if nothing else... :-)

If he truly has vanished, and isn't just busy, then perhaps some other turbo owner can be persuaded to take up the gauntlet, and we can continue with this as an interesting experiment and get-together excuse.

Said turbo owner would not, of course, be held responsible for backing up any of tone's boasts.

If Tone does not want to race, is there any interest in moving the event somewhere else where more 951 owners can attend? It would be fun to have a water cooled Porsche track day.

I can easily get us private track time during the week at WSIR. It's not free. It's a little more than say on a weekend with a ton of people. But the upside is there's less people, we make the rules, and it's "all you can eat".

It looks like the rate is $2750 per weekday at WSIR for the 2.5 mile road course. Is medical staff, corner workers, and/or track insurance included or are some or all of those items additional? I am assuming we could hold an open track day (7-8 hours of track time).

I drive through the airport every day.....if you can handle riding in a chevy or lincoln. Maybe we should just make this a vegas trip and talk smack at a craps table.

You guys are blinded by thoughts of Crazy Horse ll

Anyway... I will get us on a week day at WSIR (big track) for around $300 - $350 per person. And at that rate, you can drive as much as you want, all day, until you can't drive anymore...

I just need a date range.
