So what's the intended rpm limit of this engine?
It seems the stock intake runner length and size and plenum size will hold back the power?

There is a lot more to it than that. In reality, I would not do what your recommending, that is way to aggressive and not needed. You need to focus on equalizing the runners and less on opening them up.

Put it this way, his intake has no problem outflowing the head.

Patrick, I really don't have the words. Other than Dammit I need more $$$$.

Some nice pieces there.

I talked to Dave about that turbo at one time and if the hotside proves to be too small I think the turbine wheel looks like a close spec to a T4 p trim and could probably be modified. Just some info for later if needed. However it has been proven to flow enough for 680 then it should be more than enough.

Looking forward to the vids of you vs whatever

Sid, your right. You can machine a t-4 for this turbo. The specs of his turbo are not really what he posted but close. The like turbo has been pumping out 600rwhp+ on many cars.

I have to admit to not being up to pace on turbo specs and how all that works. I'm still at the 'Compare and Contrast' level I guess is the best way to term it. From what I can see the ETT of the BW turbos works well. They can support a lot of boost. With E85 I should be able to run some more boost than normal. I was going to go for a GT3582r in the past and these are meant to be superior head to head so I think this will be fine.

Man that looks fantastic. Makes me want to start building up my 3L block...too bad i have no money .

As for refried beans and welding, the gas developed in your stomach can be used to shield the arc .

That will be determined by the torque mostly. Probably low 7's just to be safe. It has all the race springs, Ti locks & retainers etc to be good to there at least.

PEEOOUUU!! lol
Thanks TD. I gotta say when you try a bigger capacity motor you just don't want to go back to stock size. The extra tq is VERY nice.

It has been benched so I guess he's right re the 8v head being the limiting factor. Stock head is 188cfm. This one is a smidge under 250cfm. That's a big improvement but when you look at the Jap stuff or our 16v heads that are over 350cfm, we are behind the 8 ball here.
