Lol, all my garage doors were open, which made the fact that my eyes were burning even more annoying! Hopefully after today it won't be so rich!

I hope my car doesn't leave a permanent black spot on the garage floor...

Tried the new map today with the software changes and it definitely made a difference. Throttle response from idle improved greatly and the exhaust was nowhere near as potent as it was. Altho I have a ticking sound coming from somewhere so I think I have an exhaust leak. Time to jack the car up and check things out...

I hope it is, but the car can get up to operating temp and it's still there. I'm not too familiar with diagnosing exhaust leaks, but I do know that they sound like a ticking. I've run the car about 5 times. I can't honestly remember, but I'm pretty sure that it hasn't been there every time, otherwise I would have noticed. We'll see. I'm going to jack the car up and just take a look at all the connections.

I had a ticking noise after my car sat for a few months, it wouldn't go away until I drove it a while.

I think it may be lifter noise. Either way, tuning is progressing and after reviewing datalogs, the engine is doing better than I had initially thought/hoped!

Don’t get caught up in the little noises yet – the car hasn’t; been driven 6 inches yet!
The engine, exhaust and other parts have not seen any load or any real heat…..yet.

Any news on the maiden voyage?

Idling in your garage for 3 days isn't good on a new engine either
