Yes, torsion bars are gone. I am running 500Lb springs in the rear.

I decided to mount the MBC in the glove box to get it out of the cabin so I don't feel as tempted to randomly turn the boost up
I decide to replace my cigarette lighter with a more useful "black ****". It's slightly out of my reach but just a reach away in case some simulated situations come up. Things are coming along nicely there- looking good Darwin.

I'm buying a super trick 951 race car with one of the most developed chassis I've ever seen on a 944. Double A-arms up front, rear suspension from a 996 CUP, widebody, 2250 lbs etc. This will be a true Cup car killer especially when I put the big engine in it

Oh, and good job on the car. It's all the little things that add up to the significant amount of time needed to complete a build like that.

Appreciate the compliment Duke, there are countless "little things" that as I get deeper into the project, just had to take care of to do things how I wanted.

BTW photos are required of this new car of yours! What will be happening to the green hunter?

You're putting your 968 variocam turbo engine into the racer? What's going back into your avatar car then? Another 968 variocam turbo engine?...

I'm sad to say the green hunter will have to go... it's been 8 years of development and now it's a perfect Club Sport. Time to take the next step and it feels like a better idea to get a new car than to pull the hunter apart and start over.
The hunter will get a nice 400+ hp engine.

Sorry for the hi-jack!

No problem Duke, whoever gets the Green Hunter will have one hell of a documented car.

Who knows, I may get rid of mine, too

Began squaring everything away in the passenger side foot well tonight. It's actually a lot less cluttered now that I've removed the DME and KLR, the TecGT single box is a lot smaller.

Makes me wonder about pad changes (must be a wicked taper to the pad wear)…not much cooling space for the rotor…and the wheel is missing a bolt!

BTW – Duke already knows that brakes just slow you down! The secret to faster laps times is not going faster – its slowing down less!
