Ah, we don't really do much work with other UAS manufacturers.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I can't wait to get the suspension finished up, drop her on her own wheels, and set the ride height. Haven't done too much the last two days. Received a box from Lindsey Racing with some much needed early turbo coolant hoses so I could fit the intake pipe behind the headlight with plenty of room. Also disassembled the suspension and am about to attempt to get spring plate bushings off...JOY!

Best way I have found to remove the spring plate bushings is to heat the spring plate with a torch... the bushing will rotate right off with a channel lock. Get it nice and hot and it will leave little if any rubber to clean off.

Do it outside however or your shop/garage will stink for days.

good luck, it is a pita job any other way I have done it.

Ah, a name I havent heard in a while. I was born there. A couple memories from my childhood remember a couple of Chinook crashes into the Vistas in the area that I watched happen. No one believed me until it was on the news later that evening... I would like to make it back down to Sierra Vista some day...

I only worked there for about a month for re-currency flight training. It was a nice area. The drive to work now sucks compared to AZ...

If you're ever on the other side of the mountains, give me a shout. You have my number, right? I'm always home trying to get this damn thing finished!

Installed the new torque tube today as well as the alternator -> starter cable. Also routed the battery positive down to the starter and the bell housing ground was loosely attached. We'll see how much I can get done tomorrow.

Spring plates are slowly getting cleaned...damn that is a PITA!

Took a break from the spring plates to install the transmission. It's actually getting close to being finished!

Made some progress tonight. Torqued the main crank shaft bolt, installed the clutch slave cylinder and line (need to tighten the hardline->rubber line connection!), tightened the TT to the bellhousing, secured the final routing of the battery/alternator cables routed to starter, installed the test pipe and wastegage, and installed the cat heat shield.

Send me a PM with your contact info. Be fun to hook up when I come into town to pick up my car.
