Ended up getting a 38mm Tial w/.8 bar spring.

I think I got confused on something, or misunderstood a part. I have 48# injectors coming with my Vitesse MAF setup. Should I get a 3bar FPR or not? From how I interpreted an earlier post, it sounded like you don't need it...but that didn't make much sense. Can anyone clairfy?

On a side note does anyone know of the max output(psi) for a adjustable FPR for our cars is? Whats safe fuel pressure. I have the standard 3.0bar FPR but, after reading about the e85 stuff im a little concerned my fuel setup won't be enough for e85(044 pump, 83lb injectors). Would buying a adjustable FPR and increasing the fuel pressure a good bit help me out?
Also would it hurt anything to do it like that. I understand its just better to buy the right size injectors the first go around but, stupid me I didn't think that far ahead(I was coming from 55lb and a fat fuel curve I thought the upgraded pump and injectors would be more than enough for 400whp).
Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

However I don't want to do that if it isn't safe and i'll be honest im not looking for crazy power. I'll only be running higher boost pressures on e85 and even then it won't be the norm.
I'm hoping the v-flex software will allow me to run 18psi on pump fuel safely(hell I did that for years on my old setup but, I know this is different now). If I can run 18psi safely i'll be happy with whatever 3ish more psi can give me with e85.
I'm just trying to find out whats safe or not. Everyone says something different and not that john isn't helpful but, he has to protect himself. Its why he says no more than 15psi.
However I know people run more than that on pump gas and race gas. I'm just trying to figure out what the line is, turn it back one notch and be happy. If its only 15-16psi then thats fine. If I can run 17-18 and be safe I will.
E85 is the same thing. I just want to find the safety line and make sure I never cross it.

Everyone seems to have a different answer. I know its probably more than 15psi on pump but, how much more is the question. On e85 with my injectors, pump, and 3bar fuel pressure whats the most I can run then?
I really hate to play trial and error with this brand new motor and turbo. I'd rather someone just be able to say "oh yeah I have a similar setup and I ran 17psi all day long no problem etc".
sigh searching results aren't giving me much direction either.

Provided the motor is built to take higher psi and you have all the supporting components for E85, you can run 17psi easily!
Something to bear in mind is that no matter how 'ready' our motors are to run higher boost, it still ages the internals faster, all things being equal. Having said that I will be looking at 24psi as a sort of 1st stage ceiling.

I'm just a lowly 2.5 with stock internals(fresh rebuild).

Not at the moment John, otherwise I would have left that 996tt in my dust. I've got a refreshed totally stock 2.5L motor with the VR5 kit. I'm playing with a bit of E85 at the moment and using the SMT6 to get the afrs right. With the V-flex kit you'll be fine for 18psi easy IMHO.
