Default My Upgrade Plan, thoughts?

Being EXTREMELY new to the 951 scene I'm somewhat unsure of my upgrade path, I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Its a 1986 951 you can see pics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/1279314...7607698586880/.

Those are kinda old I've got OZ Racing wheels on there now

The car is stock except for B&B Exhaust and aftermarket blow off valves. It has weltmeister chips, but that is irrelevant.

I'm planning on installing all of these upgrades at basically one go, not over time. Bad idea?

1) Manual Boost Controller - Boost & Narrow Band Air/Fuel gauges
2) #72 Fuel Injectors
3) Bosche 3 Bar Fuel Regulator
4) Lindsey Racing Stage 2 MAF (Already got this almost new at a great price)
5) Tial 0.8 Bar 38mm Wastegate
6) 951max Chips

I'm hoping to get in the high 200s with this 280-300 would be beautiful.

Like I said, very new to this so please critique away.

3" exhaust at the top of the list forget the fuel pressure reg as the injectors are pretty big .
and put the chips Maf and injectors in all at once .and maybe LR boost enhancer or similar thing

What exhaust would you recommend and from whom? Seems like it is pretty pricey, can I do it for under a grand?

Get an electronic boost controller. Much better than manuals in my experience.

You won't get much over 270rwhp with the stock old K26/6. If you're lucky

If you are planning on staying stock turbo, dont bother with the 72# injectors.

270 rwhp would be an acceptable first round number.

My daily driver is 270 rwhp but weighs about 1000 lbs more, so that should feel pretty fast to me

I actually already have a gutted cat...I'm going to weigh my options as far as the 3" exhaust goes. Is this really my biggest performance gainer?

Edit: I want to upgrade the turbo eventually, just not now. Maybe in like 6 months.

oh yeah and i'd say 72#ers are way overkill for a stock turbo, just save your $$$

Edit: yeah... what mike said.

If I get 55s should I put in the 3 bar fuel regulator?

I'm not really ready to go to E85. I might consider it at some other point, but I'd like to see where I can get on pump first.

If you only going for 250-270 then maybe just leave the stock injectors?

It might be close to maxing out but I would do it. If you upgrade to a MAF later, some vendors will want you to use the injectors they supply if you want tech support. something to think about.

I don't want to leave in the stock injectors, really. I can just get some 55s from lindsey, since I'm using a lindsey MAF it might work out better as far as support goes.

Question: With the upgrades listed, will I need a piggy back fuel controller? Lindsey says you should get one with the MAF.... and no, I don't fully understand what they do
